Description
EXCELLENT VINTAGE FRISBEE COLLECTION THAT INCLUDES: (NOT 1 BUT 2) red 1950 Lil Abner Flyin Saucers!!!-Based on disc inventor Fred Morrison's 1946 Whirlo-Way design. 5000 of these were produced, but few were sold due to a threatened lawsuit by Al Capp possibly over the unauthorized label. Both labels are bright in color, but have a few light white scratches-no rips!. 1600 of these discs were discovered in 1977. Please get a copy of Fred Morrison's book, "Flat Flip Flies Straight!-The Origins of the Frisbee" for tons of Frisbee info!!! Absolutely no cracks! There are some small indentations around the rims of both discs. One sticker is buggered up(see photo)-looks like it was folded when it was attatched to the disc, the sticker on the other disc is in excellent condition. (2)1958 Flying Saucers-One red, one blue. Looks like these were played with quite a bit with scratches on the tops and rims-NO CRACKS!!!! (2) MIP 1967 Wham-O Frisbees-One red, one blue. Mint on card with intact plastic wrap. Says, "STOCK NO. 132" on bottom left of cardboard. (2) MIP 1970 Wham-O Frisbees-One orange, one pink. The card of the orange one is lightly creased on the corners and the wrap has two 2" tears. Pink is totally minty. Says, "STOCK NO. 132" on bottom left of cardboard. (1) MIP 1973 Wham-O Frisbee-Orange. In original plastic bag. Some ink has worn off of bag in places. Frisbee is mint. "STOCK No. 132" is inked on bottom left of bag. (1) MIP 1978 Wham-O Moonlighter 110 G Model-7" tear of the plastic wrap on the back, near the bottom. Says, "STOCK No. 200" on bottom left of cardboard. (1) MIP 1979 USOC Championship Model Frisbee. Mold #100, 127 Grams. Light crush-bend in top left-hand corner of box(see photo). Frisbee is mint.
