Joining the club required two Quaker box tops which got you a code book, pledge and member badge. Additional badges required you write in to tell Dick about good deeds you had done since your last promotion and fork over an additional 5 box tops for Sergeant, 7 for Lieutenant, 10 for Captain, and 15 for Inspector-General. Each level had to be attained before you could get the next. The Patrol Leader badge required the member to send in 2 more box tops and also recruit 5 new members that had to send in two box tops each. The extra recuiting effort seems to have made this one of the rare Dick Tracy radio premiums. This badge and the others I have listed in other auctions came from a single estate. This badge is in great condition with only very minor rubs to the surface. The original gold finish is complete and intact, there is some glare from the scan but the finish is near perfect.  The scan of the back of the badge is not great but shows the old style pin back.  Shipping, handling and insurance will be $12.00 in North America.
