Produced in 1938 for the Dick Tracy radio show sponsered by Quaker Puffed Wheat and Rice cereals. Joining the club required two Quaker box tops which got you a code book, pledge and member badge. Additional badges required you write in to tell Dick about good deeds you had done since your last promotion and fork over an additional 5 box tops for Sergeant, 7 for Lieutenant, 10 for Captain, and 15 for Inspector-General. Each level had to be attained before you could get the next. As can be seen from above the Inspector-General is the hardest badge to obtain (39 box tops plus good deeds) and less children would have stuck with the process to attain this high rank. This badge and the others I have listed in other auctions came from a single estate. This badge is in great condition with only minor rubs to the surface.  Shipping, handling and insurance will be $12.00 in North America.
