There's an easel ready to hand for sketches and designs and displaying a miniature of an original sketch by Richard Steiff, mohair samples wait on the shelves for processing and there's also a kettle that helps create an informal atmosphere. A pair of just completed miniature bears PB 28 fill the bear maker with great pride. And just like him, they too feature a white, consecutively numbered ear tag and the old-platet "Button in Ear". This workshop is being introduced to commemorate the centenary year of Steiff Teddy bears. It shows a workplace typical of the start of last century and is as true to life at that time as possible.
