This is the collection of an elderly gentleman that was extremely impulsive. He had to have everything new that came out from a variety of makers which include Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightening, Matchbox, Greenlight, Muscle Machines, Motor Max, Dub City, Maisto All Stars, Malibu All Stars, Pro Rods, Marvel & Jada Dubs. As his collection grew and he became expert at choices for collecting, the quality of the stock grew. In all, there are approximately 5,496 cars of all varieties in this remarkable collection! For transport to events, plastic boxes with exact size partitions for the cars were purchased. In all, there are about 110 boxes holding about 50 cars each. All cars are in very fine condition. Recently, the wife of this gentleman gave him the ultimatum to get them out of "her" garage. Quite sadly, he contacted me to help sell the collection. The collection was sold to the Murphy Auto Museum in Oxnard, CA with hopes of putting the entire lot on display. Due to the massive size of the aggregate and expense tied to display project, the plan has been cancelled and back for sale. Not being an expert on these cars, I did some research, comparison shopping and sought after individuals with knowledge of these items. What I found is that prices of the cars in the collection vary greatly. Cars from 1952 to 1960 could be the most valuable ranging from $25 to $275 each. Cars from the 1960's to the 1980's could be worth $25 each plus much higher. Most of the cars from the 1980's to the present are in the $1.50 to $25 range.
