Only 900 of these engines were made many years ago that sold for about $6000.00. This is model #275. This is a very rare opportunity to pick up a very rare and discontinued Aster model HSB Engine in excellent condition- no missing or damaged parts and no scratches of any type. The wood box is in excellent condition without scratches or dents. All original papers and documents are included. Note that this Aster-LGB model is NOT the LGB 21811 or 21812 models that are made only of the traditional LGB plastic. Those versions sell for less than 1/2 of the retail price of this model. This model was made under license by LGB to Aster Hobby of Japan. This model also comes with: 1. Two seven-pole Buhler motors for maximum pulling power. 2. Seven lights: three on the front, three on the back, and one in the cab. 3. Weight- a massive 12+ pounds! (not including wooden box and packing materials) 4. Length- an impressive 22" long! 5. Other details: metal opening cab doors, opening smokebox door; complete cab interior with gauges, valves & levers; detailed boiler with metal fittings, domes, pipes & handrails; engineer (plastic) in original plastic bag; metal operating drive rods and detailed Walschaerts valve gear; ten powered wheels; smoke generator; lighted interior; automatic directional lanterns. 6.
